(updated)
How can you help the people in the Ukraine? By supporting #charities that support the people.
At this point, it’s most important to support humanitarian organizations, including those helping refugees.

Local charities may no longer be functioning, but my two original suggestions, recommended to me by professionals with personal knowledge of the charities, are:
https://lnkd.in/dn__CrpQ – Lifeline Ukraine – suicide prevention
https://lnkd.in/dT_zcztn Kiev City Charity Foundation Food Bank – e-mail them for bank info on making a donation
I welcome suggestions from others. See comments for additional ideas.
I want to make sure people give to legitimate charities, since during a crisis scammers often pretend to be real charities.
